Registration Information for 2026 Spring Season


The emphasis is on FUN!

Practice on the day of the game!

Perfect for athletes playing multiple sports!


  • Free Registration for:
  • Residents of Sayreville
  • Residents with mailing addresses in Parlin or South Amboy who pay taxes to Sayreville Borough


  • Registration Fee Required for:
  • Residents of South Amboy, Parlin, Old Bridge, or any other surrounding towns who do not pay taxes to Sayreville Borough
  • Addresses are verified; please use the address where the child resides. 


  • Uniform Requirement (All Participants):
  • All players must purchase the official flag football T-shirt uniform, regardless of residency.



Season:  April – June


First game tentatively scheduled for April 11th

4pm - 9pm! Younger divisions playing earlier!


No games Memorial Day weekend!


**Kindergarten – 8th Grade** Must be 5 years old!

Join the Sayreville Jr. Bombers for an exciting Spring Flag Football season filled with fun, friendships, and the thrill of the game! This dynamic, minimal-contact program is designed to introduce players to football in a safe and engaging environment where everyone can participate.



**Grade Divisions**


Open to all current Kindergarten through 8th-grade students. Must be 5 years old!

Players will be grouped by grade divisions to ensure fairness, fun, and competitive balance.


**Coaching & Volunteers**


Our teams are guided by dedicated volunteer coaches who foster a supportive and positive atmosphere. Each coach undergoes a thorough background check and adheres to the standards set by SJB and AYF. 

Parents are always welcome to get involved as coaches or team assistants!


**Practices & Games**


**Practices:** Scheduled on the day of games during the season!


**Games:** Held on Saturday afternoons and evenings, complete with lights, music, and a concession stand for refreshments. 


Schedules will be communicated once teams have been formed and may be adjusted due to weather conditions or field availability.


**Equipment & Safety**


**Provided:** Flag belts 

**Players bring:** Mouthguard, athletic shoes or cleats (no metal spikes), and comfortable athletic attire 


**Code of Conduct**


Flag football is designed to be enjoyable for all players, who are both teammates and friends. We expect positive sportsmanship from every participant. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated, and any individual breaching the code of conduct may be asked to exit.
